“When the time comes to count the cost, men will be amazed at, and ashamed of, the waste of war. More than any other activity of men, war eats greedily into resources and lives. Nothing is spared in the effort to overcome the ‘enemy’; everything is sacrificed to the attainment of victory. Thus has man waged relentless strife against his neighbour, and not always in self-defence. As often as not, war has been used for the expansion of territory, the accumulation of plunder or, most abhorrently, the capture of slaves. The ‘spoils of war’ is a phrase used lightly to describe the underlying purpose of most wars.
Today, we have reached a time when men must take seriously the task of ending war.
Should they fail to do so, they threaten the very existence of the race.”
Maitreya, you may be sure, will speak thus on His emergence… Be vigilant but not afraid; trust Maitreya to wisely guide the actions of men. Play your part in the task of educating your brothers and sisters and so make lighter His burden.
Tell all who will listen that the Expected One is here, ready to begin, openly, His Mission. That He relies on the men and women of goodwill to work with Him for peace and justice, freedom and love. Tell them this. Tell them that Maitreya has the simple answer for the world’s woes. That sharing will engender the trust that will open the door, and the hearts of men, to blessed peace.

“When men co-operate rather than compete, they will find a magic potion entering their lives. The ease with which long-lasting problems will be solved will astonish, the impossible will yield to the lightest touch, and, through co-operation alone, men will learn the true art of living…. Through co-operation the new civilization will be built, the new science revealed, the new understanding manifested. Thus will men grow together in the discovery of their divinity. Thus will they know the joy and happiness of such togetherness.
The Masters, your Elder Brothers, are not strangers to co-operation. In all that They do, co-operation plays a central role. It could not be otherwise in the manifested Brotherhood where the canker of competition is unknown.
The era of competition is fast coming to an end. With its demise, violence and war, starvation amid plenty, greed and separation, will likewise fade from the memory. To replace these sorrows will emerge blessed co-operation, to guarantee to men their essential divinity. Thus will it be and thus will men come to understand another facet in the nature of God.”

“The world is waiting. Not with bated breath but with a growing sense that events are moving towards a crisis, the outcome of which is unclear. No one knows how things will turn. The professionals, politicians and economists alike, flounder helplessly in the cross-currents, unable to plan in the conflicting directions they are forced to take. Daily, new problems arise to test the goodwill of the most enlightened, while, behind the scenes, the ruthless greed of speculation brings nations to their knees.
Nothing can halt this slide towards chaos, as market forces crush the life of men in their unholy grip. Nothing can save this civilization, based as it is on competition and greed. The old order is dying; nay, it is already dead. Commercialization, another name for mammon, has usurped the law and become the state religion around the world.”
Into the centre of the storm this group of Elder Brothers is returning. One by one, They take Their places in your midst, ready when called upon to offer Their advice and help… Maitreya has come to make all things new. Knowingly or not, the world is waiting for the new.

“If men are to save this planet from the results of global warming they must do infinitely more than is planned to limit carbon emissions, and in a shorter period of time than is generally accepted as necessary. Men have been slow to recognize the dangers, and even now many refuse to take the problems seriously. Such attitudes, there is no doubt, put in jeopardy the future of planet Earth.
Commercialization indeed bodes ill for humanity as it tightens its grip on the throats of men. Commercialization, says Maitreya, is more dangerous to men than the atomic bomb, and is showing its destructive power in the economic chaos which rules in the world today.”
Patiently has Maitreya waited many years for this time, sure in the knowledge that the events now taking place would, indeed, transpire… The complacency of millions is turning into hatred and distrust of commercialization and the old order of things. Men everywhere are at last ready for a new interpretation of the meaning and purpose of life, for sharing, justice and peace; for right relationship, brotherhood and greater happiness. They are ready, at last, for Maitreya’s call.”

“…it is dawning on many that the present ways of living are bankrupt of meaning and lack all potential for human happiness. Large numbers thus ‘opt out’ of the struggle and seek solace and equilibrium in the growing number of religions, philosophies and ‘cults’, ancient and new. The changes needed seem too vast, too radical for human hands or minds to set in motion, and they turn inwards to the God Who, they suspect, controls the affairs of men.
Maitreya enters now the world arena to teach men that they are Gods in potential, that they are powerful indeed, and that conditioning alone, holds them in thrall to superstition and fear, competition and greed. He will show men the way to renounce the past, and to construct, under His wise guidance, a civilization worthy of men who are moving into their Divinity. The day is not far off when men will hear His Call, and hearing, respond. The day is not far off when men will know that the long dark night is over, that the time has come to welcome the new light which has entered the world.”

“From where, one may ask, is the vision to come which will inspire men to relinquish the ways of the past – war, competition and destruction of the planet – and so lead to the creation of a path to sharing, justice and peace? For how long must men wait for a sign that this is even feasible? Where should men look for a glimmer, even, of hope? Without doubt, there is much happening in the world to strain the credence of all but the most convinced that this much to be desired event is not only possible but assured.
From what basis can such a statement be made? From what superior knowledge does it issue? How in this uncertain world can such confidence be maintained? The answers to these legitimate questions lie in the fact known to all Hierarchy (but not yet to all men) that Their Head and Leader, Maitreya Himself, is, for many years now, present in the everyday world; that many of Their illustrious Brothers, likewise, walk once more with men. This fact alone is quite without precedent. It betokens something wonderful and new for men. For the first time in countless thousands of years these ‘men without fault’ will teach men how to live, simply and well, in peace and right relationship.”

Awaken, soon, to the new day. Polish, anew, each bright aspiration. A new light, the Light of the World, is now, once more, among you. Reveal the growing light which now enters each sentient being, and redress the imbalances of old.
